calendar - march 2010 Pastor's Corner Some random thoughts about things:      I'd like to encourage you to come each Sunday between now and Easter as I preach through the Seven Deadly Sings.  The Sunday of February 21, I preached on the danger of getting into the awful habit of ency and the damage it does to the one who envies.      Upward basketball and cheer is going along well again this year.  We have a wonderful team of volunteers (about 180 in all) that work each week to provide a fun, positive environment that teaches the fundamentals of basketball and cheer leading. It is a great opportunity for them to show and share the love of Christ.      Once again, we are linking our Upward awards night with a Power Team Crusade (April 7-11).  Plan to be part of this exciting evangelistic even and bring other with you.  We have a "Ten Most Wanted" prayer list available so that you can pray for ten of your family and friends who you'd like to see impacted by this wonderful week.      Easter Sunday is April 4.  We are looking forward to a great morning of celebrating Jesus' victor over death and our victory over sin.  Plan to bring friends and family to be part of this great day of celebration.
